The Engineer's Approach
Due to my mental (de)formation, I can't look at an object without wondering how it works and, above all, how it could work better. My approach is analytical, data-driven, and constantly striving for precision. For me, a measuring instrument isn't just a tool: it's the means that transforms a subjective feeling into scientific certainty.
From the first stringing to the point of reference in my tennis club
My "technical" adventure in the world of tennis began almost as a challenge. Tired of not having complete control over my equipment, I decided to start stringing my own racquets and working on customizing frames.
What began as a personal experiment in the garage soon became a methodical observation:
- Testing rackets with different strings and tensions to see how they affected my playing.
- Analyzing the response of the frames.
- Testing how adding grams to the frame in strategic places changed my shots.
In a short time, the news spread among the friends at the club. The “engineer who strings rackets” became the trusted stringer and technical consultant to whom they would turn:“Why can't I feel the ball anymore?” “With these strings, I can't get any spin and my shots are going long.”o“Which frame is best suited for my arm?”.
Becoming a point of reference for strings and frames in my club made me realize that there was a gap to fill: the need for tools that made this precision accessible to everyone.
